Mordheiming: more of the same

I spent more time this week on the town hall building than on anything else. At first, it probably doesn’t look like there has been lots of progress but I actually did quite a lot on it. The inside is now well advanced. I still need to add some details then it will be time to furnish it a bit and add more rubble. For the furniture, it’s going to have to wait as I’m planning on sculpting most of them: tables, chairs, benches should be enough for this one. I also printed some old medieval paintings to that scale to add some more drama.

I wanted to have the roof started for that update but it’s just taking too long or I’m too slow: I’m going for the first one but I’m biased. I did manage the two towers which I’m quite happy about since I didn’t have a clue on how to do them. The tiling is going to be time consuming as well which is why I have been looking at those moulds from Hirst Arts or maybe making mine.

I’m going to try to do as much as I can on this one before Christmas and I’ll post an update at the end of this week which will probably be the last update of the wear 2010 due to Christmas and maybe to some “Cataclysm”…told you I wouldn’t have the mental strength to resist that!!!!



J’ai passé la plupart de mon temps cette semaine sur la mairie. Au premier regard, il ne semble probablement pas y avoir eu beaucoup d e progrès mais j’ai vraiment avancé dessus. L’intérieur est bien en place. Il me faut toujours finir pas mal de détails puis après il sera grand temps de le meubler et de rajouter quelques ruines. Pour les meubles, il va falloir attendre un peu plus car j’ai l’intention de sculpter la plupart : tables, chaises, bancs devraient faire l’affaire pour ce bâtiment. J’ai aussi imprimé des images de vieux tableaux médiévaux à l’échelle pour rajouter un peu de « drama ».

Je voulais avoir commencé le toit au moment ou j’écris ce post mais ca n’a pas été possible. J’ai tout de même réussi à faire les 2 tours. Poser les tuiles va me prendre du temps, je crois que je vais peut être craqué et acheter un de ces moules de chez Hirst Arts ou bien faire les miens.

Je vais faire ce que je peux sur ce bâtiment avant noël et je posterais un message à la fin de cette semaine qui sera le dernier pour l’année 2010. Noel et « Cataclysme » pour les vacances auront raison de moi…Je vous avez bien dis que je n’aurais pas la force mentale de résister !!!
