I know there’s a whole world out there of people into dolls and doll houses. You just need to visit craft shops and you’ll notice the vast array of stuff you can find for them. It’s not really my cup of tea but I discovered Marion Clayton that does incredibly detailed work with them. It’s not really themed “Dolls for girls”, it’s kind of funny, weird daily life scenes. There are lots of pictures on his website, take some time to visit, it’s well worth it:

Je sais qu’il existe toute une communauté de gens passionnés par les poupées et maisons de poupées. Un des magasins de « Crafts » de part chez moi vends tout un tas d’objets et modèles pour ces fanatiques. Ce n’est pas vraiment ma tasse de thé mais j’ai découvert par hasard Mariel Clayton qui fait un travail incroyablement détaillé avec. Ce n’est pas vraiment les « poupées pour petites filles », plutôt drôle et bizarre, des scènes de tous les jours. Il y a beaucoup de photos sur son site, ca vaut largement le détour.
I visited the web site and it appears as if Ken and Barbie have some "domestic issues". The work is unique and really interesting to look at. There's a shot of a doll dancing taken from the rear and it's so well done you can almost see the graceful motion as she spins.
